Still in Bundaberg

Yes, Dos Gatos is still in Bundaberg. We're taking it in turns to take a month or so back in the USA while the other takes care of the boat and Tigger.

It's a time for maintenance work - both engines and the generator have been serviced - injectors, impellers, coolant and oil - we have new heads and head plumbing, the sail cover and jib have been repaired, and Ginger is part way though making new cockpit screens.

We've bought new anchor chain and had the anchor re-galvanized. I stretched the chain through the marina parking area to paint colored marks every 25'.

Serviced the windlass, waxed the decks, polished the stainless, replaced two blocks and fittings on the mainsheet traveller, replaced all the rope clutches, etc., etc.

We've also inventoried and replenished all the consumables and spares we've used during the past year. This is more work than you might think as most of these things seem to be special order!

So, you see, we've been keeping busy!

In April we plan to spend a week or two touring, and then we'll set off again in early May.
